One last question guys.

Q7 Numbers and Patterns.

A shrub, 20 cm high, was planted in a pot. After it was planted in the pot its height increased by 8cm in the first month, by 4cm in the second month and by 2cm in the third momnth.' Assuming this pattern of growth continues... the max height the shrub will grow to is?

Correct answer: B) 36cm

I got 40, using the a/1-r, assuming r was 0.5 and a was 20?

Hopefully someone can clear this up before they go!

A is actually 8, as its the "FIRST MONTH", so using that you would get 16. 16 +20 = 36
stimate...
2005: VET Electrotech, Year 1
2007: English (30), Futher (30), Accounting (30), Software Devlopment (40), Systems Engineering (43)
Enter Aim: 70+
