Tomorrow's the big day people, so who's ready for the exam??
Guys and girls just remember:
1. Read each question thoroughly
2. Relate the question to a particular formula
3. Sub in the correct values into the calculator
4.Check your calculator settings are correct

That's about all I can say...
All the best everyone, Good Luck =]
If anyone needs help with anything let me know ^_^

do you know how much the exam 1 and 2 are weighted? do they represent 22% and 44%?

also, what calculator settings should be correct?

oh and last of all lol, for the exam 2, when doing business maths, for a question that we need to show working out, is it ok to just writedown our calculator screen?? i use only my calc to do business mathsss???

I'm not too sure how the exams are weighted... I'd check but the vcaa site is sooooooo slow atm

Calculator settings: Make sure you put that diagnostic on (or else you cant calculate r and r^2), if you do geo and trig make sure the calculator is in degrees not radians, make sure if you're doing graphs and relations that you turn the plots off (the ones you used for the CORE).. just simple things like that :)

You should show most of your working out, um only copy the calculator screen if you used the tvm solver, as for formulas for simple interest, compound interest etc write out the formula and show working; because you get marks for showing working as you already know. :)

Hope that helps ^_^

2nd, 0 , alpha, x^-1, go to diagnostic on, press enter. :)

To make sure it works use the linreg function and if r and r^2 work then its on :)

Good luck everyone

for exam 2, we'll have to copy down the answers onto the formulae sheet and take that out to compare.
