Another thing, a webpage convention that MUST be followed is that you must not have more than 3 different fonts and/or three different font sizes - just letting you know.

Well all my font is the same size except the ph number and superscript text so I guess I'm safe :).
I've also been using this great checlist: http://www.searchengineguide.com/stoney-degeyter/the-best-damn-web-marketing-checklist-pe.php
This is a great resource! I recommend you (or other ppl who are taking IT this year) to use this information for SACs/Exams. Very helpful!

That's a solid list. Some good points in there but not all necessary, especially for your website.

I haven't seen previous versions, so I'll comment on this iteration.

I'll be frank - it's not the prettiest page (definitely an early '00s-esque website), but I'm assuming all the necessary information is there and that's all that matters. I doubt the people who want to hire bins from you will care how it looks, as long as it doesn't hurt to look at (It's better than http://www.msy.com.au/).

Also, regarding Flash: no. Just no.

header:

Change the colour of the outer background to #444444

Change the font-family to Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif and the font-size to 13 and colour to #444444.

Add a white border of 10px to the body-block and header div-tag

Perhaps change the background of the body-block (text div tag) to the black-gradient background I've uploaded underneath. If so, change the colour of the font to #FFF

Hopefully it looks alrighht :) You don't have to change it if you want

Perhaps a navigation bar? There's too many 'types' information on the same page... (though this doesn't mean you have to put in more words, just keeps things organised)

EDIT: Maybe you could remove the left column and add a horizontal navigation bar across the bottom of the banner

I just didn't feel like I needed links at the top or anywhere since I could easily write it up on the homepage, it's not like I have more to write anyway lol.
I know it looks simple lol Tongue. The header is flash btw, so I can do whatever I want in the header on flash, any ideas?
I was thinking on the right hand side: "Skip Bins" fade out... fade in.."Rubbish Removal".. out.. in.. "Crane Lift Bins" out... in.. "9587 2762"
What ya think?

Umm u should stiill use a navigation bar as this would make the webpage look much more professional. TBH the 'Lion Bin Hire' looks like word art. (Maybe coz its fuzzy?) :| Also you need more images...

Ok I did IT Applications as well and it was bloody awesome (except for that piece of crap 08 exam, right smrandomazn if you ever read this lol). In relation to your website, I would say you have missed out on a lot of the web conventions, and my teacher would probably rape you for things like left/right adjustment, etc. HOWEVER there is something about the website that makes it 'right' for your company profile. The more I look at it, the more i feel it doesn't really need to be changed, and the simplistic, no frills design suits the image of the bin company. If I were to use this service, I'd just check the site, suburb, grab phone number and thats it. Mind you, I have created many complicated, fancy looking websites, and imo this website doesn't need to be like that. Great job andrew :)

Haha np. Yeh, websites with 5+ pages are annoying to make cause you have to get the folder structures right, and have to plan beforehand so you don't end up creating each and every page from scratch. Ahh the magic of CSS.

I don't really see why the suburbs serviced have to be links? You click it and the same thing comes up
