TEACHING FOR IMPACT IS RECRUITING!
Teaching for Impact (TFI) is a youth-led, not-for-profit organisation that seeks to create meaningful impact within the community through education. Specifically, we aim to make tangible contributions to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by running a wide range of educational initiatives designed to nurture the next generation of leaders and close the gap of inequity for disadvantaged populations. Our vision is to create a world united by love, compassion, and a desire to bring out the best in others, in which everyone is afforded the ability to lead healthy and productive lives, regardless of who they are or where they live.
We currently run two main initiatives: (1) a VCE program targeting Victorian high school students; and (2) a Medicine program targeting prospective and current medical students training to be the doctors of tomorrow. Delivered by outstanding senior students and graduates through their own generosity of spirit, our programs operate on a pay-what-you-can model, with all profits going to a designated cause committed to advancing a specific SDG at the end of the year. Our intention is to provide a platform that empowers young people to use what they have learnt to make a difference in the world and to facilitate a youth-led movement towards a healthier, more sustainable and more equitable future for all.
