GAS Question

Hey guys,

I'm doing the 2012 STAV atm, and question 11a, states:

A) Briefly outline the changes that take place during the alarm reaction stage of GAS and describe the effect of these changes on the individual's ability to deal with stress. (2 Marks)

- Thus far, I have mentioned how the body goes into a state of shock, appears physiologically as if it were injured, arousal + awareness is reduced and that it is a state of readiness. Would you go as far as to mention Counter Shock as well? Would there be a negative in mentioning it?

Thanks!

Both shock and countershock occur during the alarm reaction stage, so you should definitely include both.  :)
