I don't think it's happening anymore, I think Monash or the construction firm ran out of money or something

I don't mean this unkindly, but that made me LOL so hard, for some reason.

Oddly the whole page devoted to the Caulfield move is still up and running, but doesn't seem to have been updated since '08, so as ninwa identified, it's probs not going to happen.

Hey Nina... do you've any idea what it is they're building down near med faculty past that gravel carpark?
I park there sometimes when I'm late for a lecture in South 1 or I'm headed to the Jap Studies Centre... so I was just curious.

Edit: Dw... they've updated the campus map... it's the "John Monash Science School"... the map says it's still under construction.

Yeah, that's the new Selective High School they're building down there.

It opens this year.

It's not really a selective school though. It's a science school - the majority of applicants are admitted, but all have to sit a test to ensure that they're strong enough in science. If not, they sit an interview to see whether they harbour a true interest in the subject.

Law is not moving anymore. I got an email some time last year saying that it was no longer going ahead due to the GFC (or at least that was implied).
