I was wondering if my first two sacs in English will greatly effect my end of year English score.  I received two C+ - for context and oral - in the first sacs and am awaiting my context result that was recently assessed.

My teacher has been particularly tough on my class as in our first sac the highest mark was B, in which only 2 people received and with most getting C+...  It's not that we are a riduculously bad class but the teacher is known for being quite harsh when marking.  In comparison, all the other English classes in the year level had a lot better averages with all of them - except my class - having a few As and A+ marks.

I'm quite concerned as I wish to get 40+ in English.  (I currently take Revolutions and Classics where I'm doing quite well and also took Literature 3&4 last year, so English/writing is quite important to me as you can surmise)

Help and advise would be appreciated very much :)  Thanks in advance to anyone who replies :)

So your teacher marks extremely harshly and the other teachers don't?
This really, really screws you over, big time.
Unfortunately there is actually nothing that you can do about it.

The first two SACs dont count for much though.

Force your teachers to cross mark your sacs and explain to them why it's important to do so... And contact vcaa and check the guidelines for sac assessment especially english.
