Having said that , I got a 91.45 and my friend got in with a 88.50.

Though I didn't apply, I called up Deakin to see what they thought the clearly in was, they said around 98.00+, I can't believe it's 91.70, considering how difficult it is to get into UNSW Optometry

i know of 6 people who applied all which scores under 94 and all got in. with my friend who had the lowest at 88.5....
definately not that high mate. lol relax.

But the thing is UNSW Optometry also requires UMAT

One of my friends got 96.50 and didn't get Optometry at UNSW (I think due to UMAT) but they did get Optometry at Deakin, Flinders and QUT

Just wondering to those that are already in pharm or another degree, what were the steps to applying for deakin optom ? I know you dont need gamsat, the pi form was pretty much all I completed. I rang them to make sure they contact your uni to get your GPA, but do they really? or did you have to submit it yourself. The process seemed too simple.

I do pharm
I wrote the Pi form and just applied through VTAC.
I actually stated my GPA in the pi form anyway... but i have no idea how they actually got it... maybe they looked at atar + pi form? not sure
