Did you put much effort into yours taiga, btw how many prac exams did you do for physics?

nah i just put the whole cheat sheet to do with materials and structures because i didnt know any of the content

I did 15 exams the day before the actual exam (I'm not even kidding)
vce: english, methods, spesh, chemistry, physics, geography.

Must be an MHS thing...

I probably need to do a few prac exams over the next couple of days, not at all confident with physics :(

As for the cheat sheet, the best things are pre-transposed formulas :D

'Kay.
Sheet's done.

Very comprehensive, but not exhaustive.
I need it all because I STILL haven't completely grasped some things and generally am a bit derpy.
Detailed Study: Relativity.
Diagrams added after printing, they are as follows:

PAGE 1: Forces on inclined planes
Forces on/and projectile motion
Circular motion - Rollercoaster
Forces on banked tracks

PAGE 2: Resistor variations
Diode graphic
Voltage divider with thermistor as R1
Vin Vout Comparison graph
Vin Vout max value linear graph thing (can never remember the names of those)
and the Interferometer.

The most notable omission I noticed was in the special relativity section.
It allows you to find what fraction of the speed of light the object is going (0.98c etc.) when you know the Lorentz factor.
It's also easily rearranged to find the velocity. I'm not sure if you intended to transpose that from the lorentz factor on the exam, but I reckon it's worth putting on, especially since a lot of the trial exams required use of it.

Pretty good cheat sheet overall.

Art's student and utilitarian crossbreed.
I like the aesthetic appeal crossed with the functionality of more desk space.
+ I'm super clumsy and I don't want it to go off into the aether if I move too quickly.

I would put mine up, but it contains diagrams and examples which I don't think I have the right to make public...if you get what I mean... ???

But heres a rough idea as to what it looks like. They're both double sided, I just have two copies incase one spontaneously combusts.

Page 1 has motion and universal gravitation.

Page 2 has E&P and S&M.

That's about it, now to cram some Chem and Accounting... :buck2:

If you want software I guess you could use Scribus.

http://www.scribus.net/canvas/Scribus

You can give it a chunk of text, and it'll automatically align it into columns. It also gives you pretty precise controls with positioning etc. It's pretty simple to use, I used it to make a print publication for media last year. It turned out pretty professional-like.

The best thing is that it spits out PDF files.

I haven't uploaded my cheatsheet yet...still finalising it.

I've just used Microsoft Word. You can use the Microsoft Equation Editor to get your formulas nicely formatted.

I used Microsoft word 2007 and saved as a pdf because forums don't allow the .docx extension :/
6 coloumns, no margins, and just a pattern to the way I colour things :3

Here's my cheatsheet, i put everything that I thought might be useful to me on the exams, it's helped me so far :)
http://uppit.com/m5wi6q4ihbvd/Physics-Help_Sheet.docx

The extra space on it's for the diagrams :D

"True weightlessness occurs when the acceleration is equal to g."

^ I think that's Apparent Weightlessness.

REFERENCES: Always define positive directions on diagrams.

Do we really have to do that???? or is it just so you dont get confused...?

like we wont lose marks if we dont right?
