Deakin OR LaTrobe

Hey everyone, I wanna do Law.
Now, I'm not sure which is better.
Studying Law/Commerce at Deakin at Burwood
OR
Law/Economics. - La Trobe Bundoora,
To be quite frank, I do not care which other degree I get in (i.e Eco or commerce), but my question is, which Uni is better in terms of job prospects??

I don't think it really matters which uni you go to in terms of job prospects.

The employer will be looking at the whole person when considering them for a job, not which uni you go to...:)

Like for eg if you get First Honours in your course like at a prestige uni but suck at communication, then the employer might consider others who get lower grades but are good communicators for a job...

I think La Trobe is a bit "better" isn't it?

Not sure though. Although the ENTER's much higher for La Trobe.

From what I've heard LaTrobe is better than Deakin when it comes to Law =)
I have a few cousins who are lawyers some of which went to deakin, latrobe and melbourne.. but yeah out of deakin and latrobe, latrobe is better =)

Sorry, but that ain't true - i have a lot of connections and all in the big name firms and they say they look at the university attended first - Melbourne obviously comes first. Then results.
