I missed my external Oral component for Lote: Hebrew. It was scheduled for 9am - but I was stuck in rainy traffic on Burke road from 8am!! so intense. Arrived late and missed my oral.
Nevertheless, they kindly rescheduled and I sat it a few hours later. The examiners were not pleased (but I had a great excuse which they probably thought was shitty) ;)

My English exam:

Spent well over (and wasted) an hour and 20 minutes writing a 1800-word, 6-page language analysis. Finished that, and began writing the context essay frantically after looking at the time. Could only manage to write 2 paragraphs for context in the end - and then a huge mind blank was setting in.. ;D Then looked at the text response topics for Look Both Ways and thought 'stuff this crap' and basically gave up then and there. Ended up writing zilch for text response, and sat at the desk doing nothing for 35 minutes except pondering on my epic fail.

Ended up with final scores of A+ A+ C = 34 study score.  :D :D Ecstatic.. but I'm repeating it. Hopefully I can get a better score with a 100% complete exam.

Hey Cambridge did you find out what mark you got for your language analysis?
2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

"this leaves the audience with hope and encourage-"
"YOU MUST STOP WRITING NOW"
no no no no no no no one syllable left

i looked around, no supervisor was near, so i wrote "-ment."

Hey Cambridge did you find out what mark you got for your language analysis?

Nope.. might get a Statement Of Marks to check it out though. But a C grade means I must have gotten around 25 out of 60... I would assume I got maybe a 9 or 10 for the analysis and a couple of marks for the 2-paragraph context essay... ;D

This happened in my legal exam too! 'The high court can declare infringing legislation to be i------'. I was too piss scared to try and finish the word 'invalid' because an examiner was right next to me. In retrospect I probably could have taken out the 'to be' and i would've finished the sentence... BUT 43 SS SO FUCK THAT :D

well i havent done any vce exams yet but i got a few funny stories i would like to share :)

Story no.1:
This was for that Naplan test, the Mathematics one. The non-calc one and the calc one was on the same booklet, which i thought was stupid. and we did the non-calc one first and then it was break. but THEN i realized i made this lousy mistake on teh last q. and i couldnt help get frustrated over it even though it is just the naplan. so wen i finished the calc one after break i peered over to the teacher who was half looking around the class half not. and wen i had the chance to i pretended i was flipping over the booklet to check my answers, but i couldnt really flip my booklet upside down cause then itd be totally obvious that i was going to the previous test cause that test was written the other way. so i ended up fixing that stupid mistake by writing and erasing upside down! but it was really scary and frightening cause the teacher kept looking! arrghh. o wellies, i ended up i think, getting all the q.s right, and my black dot thing went off the grading box wen i got my results back. :P

Story no.2:
This was for my maths tutor test. My friend was going to be away on the week of the test, so the office people fave her a copy of the test. she brang it to school and photo copied one for me. I completed it at home to perfection, taking so long to do it, and i probs wouldnt have even finished it on the actual day. But then i realized wat if i couldnt remember hwo to do a certain problem and watever, so i wrote all my working out and answers on my TI-Nspire. bahahahhaaha. and wen it came to the test, everyone was furiously writing with red sweaty faces, whilst I was chilaxxing, pressing up and down on my calculator and checking my answers with 30 minutes to go. yea, ended up shocking the teacher with my mark...and my parents. ;D

Story no.3:
This was for the westpac comp. amc or watever. but dont tell anyone shhhhhhh
Well i looked at my sisters journal for her schedule for this comp and compared it to mine and REALIZED that she would be finishing about 10 minutes earlier! So i told her to txt me her answers, the ones she could remember, and right before the thing started, i rang up to my locker, checked my phone, remembered these no.s and ran back down. i think the teacher got grumpy cause i was late. anywhooo who cared, cause i had a few answers in my mind. but this plan didnt really help as the test was toooooo hard and i only knew four answers out of 30 of them. and wen i got my results back it turned out that my sisters answers had all been wrong anyways and i had stupidly circled the incorrect bubbles without even attempting to do them myself. btu dont think ive learnt my lesson...ill save my other epic story for next time
