When the formula specify 0.2*1st year gpa+0.4*2nd year gpa+0.4*3rd year gpa...

Just confirming, breadth is included in GPA calculations?
So if we take first/second year breadth in third year, does that count as 1st year GPA or 3rd year GPA?

Does anyone have a definitive answer? :'(

There's a GPA calculator on GEMSAS website (https://applygemsas.edu.au/gemsas/#/gpa-calc)
Your formula should be correct! Since, 2nd and 3rd years are now weighed equally.

Yes, breadth is included in GPA calculations, and if you do 1st year breadth in 3rd year, it will count towards 3rd year GPA!
(So, it is when you do the subject that matters, not the year level of the subject)
