I am doing legal studies units 3 & 4 this year.
i have got all my unit 3 sacs which are as follows
SAC 1 30% = 100%
SAC 2 10% = 98%
SAC 3 30% = 98%
SAC 4 30% = 98%

This is for all of unit 3
I am ranked about 2nd in a class of approximately 12 - 13
what would you beleive would be my study score along with my GA1 GA2 GA3 if i got the same scores for unit 4 and A - A+ on exam

thankyou

With those marks I'd put my money on minimum 40. The rest depends on your performance on the exam. Anywhere above 47 is a real possibility if you could get above 95% on the exam

you serious
so are those good marks?
because if i really want a 42 + study score and if i can get that ill be happy.
From what i've heard, even if you get top marks, the first ranked person will affect you on how well they do on their exam.
hopefully i can beat the first person and aim for a really high mark.
chemical here i come!
btw costargh and anyone else who has done legal, what percentages average did you get for Units 3 and 4 and if you have the exam mark also that'll be helpful.
thanks a lot guys.

Unit 3 79/100 ranked equal 5th... highest mark was 89/100
Unit 4 94/100 ranked 2nd highest mark was 96/100 or something
Exam I got an 'A'

But it must have been a High A

and both Unit 3 and 4 were A+'s after moderation and everything was done....

so goes to show that sacs do count and rankings do too

awsome marks mate! im in the same catagory as you- 2nd rank in sacs and 97/100 Unit 3. Hoping for around 45 but i wont hold my breath if i get lower. Their's 60 people doing legal this year...dunno if that will impact on anything but yeah!
GO LEGAL. I Love the subject!

The difficult thing about Legal is that it's not just how much you know, but how able you are to put that information down onto paper.

I was fucked for time last year and rushed through the whole thing and did a dodgey answer to the last question. Was still like 1 and 1/2 pages long or so but was really badly worded and really fragmented.

The problem is that there are heaps of other students in Victoria that know just as much content as you do. At the end of the day there isn't much separating all those kids, so it comes down to your ability to thrive in an exam condition.

true that, exam pressure comes down to being able to apply knowlege correctly and efficiently in situated time. It's hard but it's doable with effort and enough determiniation.
Once i have the 98% average for unit 4, hopefully, wish my luck, i will do maybe 50 practice exam... if that's doable?
But yer LONG LIVE LEGAL
best thing about it is our teacher
best ever.
