HI ALL! I have a year 11 economics assignment where I have to research and write about an economic issue in Australia


eg.

current economic growth\decline trends
current population trends
current unemployment trends
current demographic trends

any idea\suggestions that would be good to study?

also, I'm also doing 3&4 national politics so if it also relates to politics that would be sweet

hey, disregarding that part about national politics lol, i would probs select either current eco growth current unemployment rate, solely because its so easy to discuss current issues central to the Global Financial Crisis.

So for example for eco growth you could talk about how in recent time as a result of the GFC, there has been a slow down in growth, ultimately resulting in one quarter of negative growth and how if that happens again we will be in a recession

then say what factors have caused such a downward trend: slowdown in both consumer and business confdence, decrease in export trade of commodities from decreased international demand, increased unemployment means less people can buy products etc etc, they are all in ur book lol
