how much LCMT to use in essays?

Hi!

For legal essays (crime and modules) - how many pieces of legislation, cases (or case studies for world order), media articles, international treaties etc. should u have for each paragraph? I know there's no set limit or anything but  :o

Hey! So yep, as you say, it is quality over quantity, much prefer strong analysis of a few points than crap analysis of many. I personally used probably five or six per paragraph, on a rough guess? But I would also do things like, combine a case and a media article into one bit of analysis.

You should definitely be aiming for as many as you can possibly include without sacrificing the quality of your analysis!

Also, what if you do world order? how many case studies would you then analyse per paragraph? probably one?

I did WO, and sometimes I did one big situation analysis per paragraph, other times I would do like a "UNSC" paragraph and tie in a whole bunch of case studies. I do think it comes back to preference! ;D

Ooohhhh ok ok sure thing. I like WO because it's different from the other legal topics but it's weird because you don't refer to cases like in crime or indigenous peoples haha   :o
