I'm trying not to think about it too much because I feel like I did really bad fr the interview. Do you guys think that they decided whether or not we would get in right after the interview or do you guys think they are still deciding, because I feel like when Mr Corkill was writing my notes he didn't write anything like 'she stutters a lot and sounds really bad" I hope that maybe he'll forget about my little hiccups but he probably won't rip me :(

If the Lighthouse thing is true, then I'm assuming they have already filtered out a few qualified people. They'll still be deciding because it's only been a few days after the interviews and they've interviewed ~500 people?

I think I did bad as well ahah. But "stuttering a lot" does not determine one's passion for something. I'm sure he knows that you're nervous and besides, you've made him laugh a few times. I think you guys got along well.

Darn, my interviewer only took down half a page of notes ish (honestly, probably less)
I stuttered too and probably spoke too fast so....you'll be fine :')

Do you guys have a Plan B or C in case things don't work out? I currently do, but they aren't the most convenient alternatives :\\
I dread staying at my current school because I am definite that my cohort will drag my study score down T-T

I think my plan b is just to remind myself of what I want to do when I'm older and that I WILL GET THERE EVEN IF I DONT GET IN BECAUSE MY PASSION COMES FROM ME AND NOT MY SCHOOOOOOOL ;-; are you guys picking your year 10 subjects soon? If so are you guys gonna do a vce subject?
Also I feel bad about the interview because there was so much more stuff I wanted to say but it came to my head straight after the interview was over +_+

Yeah exactly! Interviews always feel like that! You reflect on it and think of a more confident, cooler-sounding version of yourself. Oh well, water under the bridge :')

"I WILL GET THERE EVEN IF I DONT GET IN BECAUSE MY PASSION COMES FROM ME AND NOT MY SCHOOOOOOOL"
This is a nice thing to think of, but the study score thing worries me. If your cohort does meh and you do well, then your study score's going to be averaged down D:

For VCE subjects, I'm planning on doing the Asian/Suicide Six (1 English, 2 Maths, 3 Science) and maybe a language if I'm able to.
I'm planning on accelerating Bio next year (like a lot of people do).

I was planning to do vce bio and possibly geography but I'm not too sure yet hehe. Are you planning on doing specialist? I really want to because it honestly sounds super interesting but my brother said not to do it if you make easy mistakes (which I do all the time) so I'm not too sure :( I'm planning to do French for my vce too but idk if I'll be good at it or not

Go for it! You should definitely do methods and specialist because you like maths. From what I've heard, specialist is like an extension of methods, and the two compliment each other really well. So if you can do well in specialist, you're gonna breeze through methods. You get scaled up as well, so it's a win-win. What subjects do you plan on doing?

English Language
English Literature
Maths Methods
Maths Specialist
Chemistry
Biology
French
Geography (maybe)

Oh geez, 8 subjects. I also have a lot of interests and it makes it difficult to choose certain activities/subjects D:
Anyways, I was bored one day and stumbled upon this http://atar-calculator.deakin.edu.au/
Not sure how accurate it is, but hopefully it helps

omg I was just using that before ahhah, there's too many subjects I want to do :(( I also really want to do history because it's really interesting. Environmental science sounds very interesting too but my school doesn't offer it I don't think.

Oml, so many subjects ahah
Imagine if you (hypothetically) do 10 subjects - that would be so hectic. It would be fun to learn about different things, but man the workload would be insane.

That's a scary analogy ahah. You should use a pro-con list if you're struggling to narrow down your subjects.
Or ask yourself, "If I had to choose between Subject A and Subject B, what would I choose?"

I'm just interested in science and maths in general, here are the subjects I'm gonna do:
EAL
Chinese SLA
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Method
Specialist Maths
Advanced Maths
Psychology
(Biochemistry at yr 12 if I got into JMSS)
My cousin who went to Mac Rob, who did 8 subjects(I think)and she ended up scoring 99.65.
I passed unit 1 for Chinese already, and I'm planning to pass unit 1&2 for biology and methods next year. My year 11 and 12 life will be hard, yet I'm prepared for it.
No pain no gain.

Never reject an idea, dream or goal simply because it will be hard work. Success rarely comes without it.
