I don't know how players like Rio Ferdinand and Kaka made it on the FIFA/FIFPro World XI shortlist, when both were injured and missed large chucks of last season and to an extent this season as well.

Good to see players like Ozil, Muller and Bale make the list. I find it interesting that Goalkeepers/Defenders rarely win the Ballon D'or, it's more or less Midfielders and Strikers who win it.

Messi to win again, I believe.
