If I get 94% average in my SACs for Psychology, and I'm rank 2 in a weak cohort with a strong rank 1, what study score might I get?
can't really tell because we don't know the the strenght of your cohort - I know you said strong rank 1 but that can be interpreated in a numerous numebr of ways e.g. rank 1 gets a SS of 50 or others might say strong = study score of 40+.

Looking at your sac perecentage you are doing really well, I think once you start doing exams and scoring them you can get a good prediction for where you are at.

hey guys im in the top half of my class in biology (certainly not the top 15), do i still have a chance in getting a 40+ study score in bio? if so, what mark would i need to achieve miraculously in the bio exam? (it said on a website that my cohort is roughly around 330)
thanks

Thanks so much in advance!

Chemistry: ~45 SS

There are 2 classes in our cohort, I'm in a strong class of 20 where top ~8-10 all seem to have prospects for 40+ and top 1-2 are contenders for 50 or at least 46+. Not too sure about the other class but they're defintiely weaker overall.

- SAC 1) 86% ranking 5th in class, don't know about cohort
- SAC 2) 96%
- SAC 3) 92%
- SAC 4) 93%
- SAC 5) 80%
---- As of SAC 5, ranking 7th in class. Teacher says ~3 marks separated 3rd and 7th ranking.
- SAC 6) ? TBA

What should I aim to get in SAC 6 and the exam for as close to 45 as possible :)?

aim for 100% in SAC 6 ! and of course it isn't a "failure" if you don't get it :)

given your cohort is pretty strong you definitely have a chance of a 45. For the exam I think you'd want around 108-110/120

Hello I would just like to know how high would my approx scores need to be in exams to get close to these scores  :)
English:
- SAC scores: 1) 95% (38/40) 2) 100% (20/20) 3) 95% (38/40)
-Rank 1 in my class, unsure about cohort tho
-Around 10+ students get 40+s in my school for English every year, with 1 or 2 50s.
-Aim: 45+

Biology:
-94% (47/50) 96% (24/25) 96% (24/25) 74% (37/50) :( - Poster SAC, highest score was 80%
-Rank 1 in school
-Around 5-6 students get 40s and above
-Aim: 45+

Chemistry:
-88% (26.5/30) 87% (26/30) 96% (24/25) 100% (30/30)
-Top 5 in cohort
-School is kinda weak for chem, around 2-4 students get 40s
-Aim: 35-40

Specialist:
-82%, 89%, 84% (SACs are generally pretty hard with rank 1 scoring high 80s)
-Top 5 in cohort
-Around 5-10 students get above 40s
-Aim: 40+

Methods:
-98% 68% (whoops) 82% (SACs are also quite hard, average was around 35% for all SACs)
-Top 10-15 (for stuffing up SAC 2)
->10 students get above 40s
-Aim: 35-40

Thanks so much :)

spec 110+/120

Methods 104/120 roughly for a 40

Hello!
Could someone please give me an estimate of what study score i might be looking at for physics with these sac scores? (given i perform to a similar standard on the exam, say a low-mid A+?)

Physics
U3: 80%, 90%, 98%
U4: 94%, 100%

rank 1
small, average cohort

thank you :)

mid low A+ on the exam + rank 1 sacs would give you something like 40-43 imo. (but thats via my definition of midlow :) )

I'll assume a high rank which doesn't impede your study score. :)

Chemistry 107-110/120
Methods both exams combined: 110-114/120
Spec 105-108/120

These scores will fluctaute with exam difficulty,

Hi guys, can someone please give me some predictions.

Methods (rank 1/2)
Exam 1: getting ~100% on VCAA and Kilbaha
Exam 2: 98-100% on VCAA

For the sake of it, just assume I am rank 2, and somehow do better than rank 1

Chemistry
GA1: rank 3/4
GA2: rank 2/3
exam: assuming 108+

Physics:
GA 1: rank 1
GA 2: rank 2
exam: getting 98-100% on VCAA

Specialist
GA 1: rank 3 (f***** up my SACS  :'( )
Exam 1: getting 100% on VCAA and others
Exam 2: Getting 95-100% on VCAA and other company exams

I think I will do better than both the people above me...

Methods 47 - 50 (depending on how rank 1/ someone else goes)
Chemistry hard exam 45+ , easy/moderate 43+
physics 48-50 (honestly could be lower depending on how rank 1 goes and if someone else can make up for it etc)
Spec 45-46  (purely because of sacs)

btw great work on those VCAA exam scores  ;D

It won't impact your english study score unless you are ill and require a derived exam score. :)
Last year I was also sick during the GAT however still did alright on it so you never know :)

Thanks for the reply! So your GAT has no effect unless you happen to be sick on the day of the exam?
