Classes and Location?

Timing isn't necessarily a concern for me when it comes to registering for my subject schedule on Monday, LOCATION; however, is. I've realized that some of my classes are situated on either end of the campus, with each class beginning when the other one ends. I'd have to be Superman in order to make it on time :(

How do you all manage (current MelbUni students). I've been told by a few people that this is a common problem. How do you overcome it?

Thanks

EDIT: Would you recommend spacing out my subjects so that I leave an hour in between each one? Or am I just wasting time?

just arrive late. no one cares and you really wont be missing much at all.

though lectures do end 5 minutes before the hour and start five minutes after the hour, and usually 10 minutes is enough to get from one end of campus to the other. unless you're in the spot for something.

Lol no. Especially if it's a lecture - they won't even notice. I had a lecture at the Spot and another lecture at the Redmond Barry straight after. Adrenaline rush but I didn't miss a thing

Once I walked into a lecture 30 minutes late in a cow onsie. It wasn't an issue.
You'll be fine. :P

Lectures should be fine - heaps of people come in late.

I'm considering putting two tutes back to back - one in Spot, the other in Alan Gilbert. Didn't deal with having to rush to/from tutes last year, so would be interested to hear protocol for leaving early/arriving late for tutorials. (might help answer 90+FTW's question as well)

People may glare the first time; I had this situation for Chem 2 but if you let the tutor know on the first day you have the class that the timing is unavoidable they shouldn't get annoyed. Most tutors don't seem to mind even if you're late without explanation, though coming into class late for a tutorial IS definitely awkward.

I planned my first timetable such that I had breaks between classes unless unavoidable. Would not recommend. Bare in mind that lectures finish five minutes early and start five minutes late giving you ten minutes.

In first semester I was pretty much late to every Maths tute since I had back-to-back classes in Richard Berry and Alan Gilbert. In second semester I had physics pracs and physics tutes back to back, which meant that I sometimes turned up to my tute a few minutes late (one time I was late by like 10 mins then I noticed that I accidentally took my prac workbook with me so I had to leave right away and give it back to my demonstrator and then come back so really I missed like 15 mins)

Nobody really cares though

How about this? *Check document link*

Tuesday was unavoidable, there are no other Classic times for Tuesday tutorials, and lectures are pretty much fixed.
