FURTHER MATHS PREDICTION
Hypothetical situation, I am rank 2 in a two person cohort;
I drop 3 marks on exam 1 and 3 marks on exam 2, and rank 1 drops 5 marks in exam 1 and 5 marks in exam 2.
What would my study score be?
I know it would be around 44 if I was rank 1, I want to know how much my rank affects my study score in this case

Physical education:
SACS: 75% (strong cohort-standing around average-ish)
Exam: say if I get 90%

What study score can I get?

Also what exam score do I need to get if i want a 45 or above?

High 30s/Maybe low 40s. This prediction is not accurate though - and not in the same way that none of them are accurate. Your sac averages, if we assume no scaling, puts you just above the mean. Getting 90% on the exam would put you more than 2 standard deviations above the mean. Unless your SACs scale up significantly and/or you've made drastic changes to how you're studying, your exam prediction is unrealistic (if you're getting 90% on past exams, then it's likely to be the first option).

Can PhoenixxFire predict my Bio SS please

GA1 - 98/100
GA2 - 90/90
GA3 - 105/120
We should have a thread after results come out to see just how inaccurate all my predictions are haha.
Most likely low to mid 40s, dependent on how your sacs scale. From the looks of your marks, you're probably rank 1, in which case you're most likely going to be at the lower end of the mid 40's (ie. 42-44) unless someone else did better than you on the exam.

GA2: 37/40
GA3: 57/60
Both of these are just slightly over the A+ cutoff, meaning that the scaled sac score will also be in a similar area - likely around the 95% mark.

GA2: 35/40
GA3: 55/60
GA 2 is just below the A+ cutoff, GA3 is just above, so you'd probably end up with a GA1 scaled to around the cutoff 90/91%

So the difference will be between getting approx 90-95% on GA1. Which is unlikely to be more than a couple of points (dependent on how you would have otherwise gone, the mark range for each study score gets larger as you go down). Can't really give you anything more precise than that though with any degree of confidence.

Can someone please predict my study score for Further Maths thanks.

GA1(SACS): 95%
GA2(Exam 1):39/40
GA3(Exam 2): 57/60

Also, what do I need in Exam 2 for a 47 and a 48? Also is 49 still possible?

By the way, don't know what my rank is. I am guessing top 3 in a strong cohort, in regards to GA1 of course(the SAC rankings)

Thanks

I'd be very surprised if you didn't get at least 40 (assuming your exam predictions are correct). You wouldn't go from 44-40 as a result of being rank 2 not rank 1 though. You'd probably only get 40 as rank two if you were going to get 41 as rank 1. If you were going to get 44 as rank 1, then you'd probably get 42 or 43.

You're probably going to get a 45/46ish with those marks (if your sacs don't scale down). A 49 could be possible if you get 100% on exam 2 and your sacs scale up.
To be reasonably confident of getting a 48, you should hope to get 100% on exam 2 so that you don't need to rely on sac scaling, but you still have a chance if you drop 1 mark.

I'm currently rank 1 for informatics
Sac 1:97 (10% of study score)
Sac 2:88 (15% of study score)
Sac 3: 90 (15% of study score)
Sac 4 88 (10% of study score)

For Informatics it is 50% study score and 50% exam

Exam is out of 100

What study score can I get if I get an 85% in the exam

SACs 2 & 3 appear to be GA1 for you and SACs 1 & 4 are GA2.

With those scores you'd get 45+ assuming your sac scores don't scale down and the cutoffs don't change significantly from last year.

Hi, I'm currently in top 20 of about 100 bio students at school..
Can you please predict my bio study score?
GA 1- 88%
GA 2- 84%
Exam- 83+%

(SAC scores get scaled up, because select entry school)
Thank you!

Assuming 100% SACs, 2018 distribution and 100/120, I'd say 43-44

Hey, I'm currently rank 3 or 4 is a relatively weak cohort (Total of 13 people) for spesh:
GA1: 78/100
GA2: 32/40
GA3: 63/80
Would someone be able to predict my SS?
Thanks!!

You're pretty much right at the 37 mark for both GA2 and GA3 (using last years grade distribution, at this percentile it's more likely to change between years). Your GA1 mark is at a lower percentile which could mean it will scale up despite being in a weak cohort, or it could just mean you've studied well for the exams.
Using last years distribution and assuming either no scaling or scaling up of sacs, I'd say you'd get approx 34-37.

Hey guys,
For further scores are roughly:
Exam 1 : 37/40
Exam 2 : 55-56/60.
Ranked highly in a pretty strong cohort.
What SS would I be looking at?

Likely low 40s, potentially closer to mid 40s if your SACs scale to a higher percentile than your exams.
