Methods:
Exam1: 40/40
Exam 2: 70/80
Rank 1
youd get between 48 or less, and 43 or higher (probably higher but i am being very conservative)
methods has a fair few people (like the 1-2% that got the last question in exam 2 last year) in the high 70s and 80s so id be hesitant to put it at a 48 (but its possible depending on the distributions)
youre well above the A+ cut off though so you'd get no lower than 43
also from what my teacher has said from marking, methods has a LOT(you know, relatively) of kids who JUST get A+, so because you are about at the halfway mark between the A+ cut off and full marks, but methods has a pretty big grouping in the Low A+ area:
id call it a 46

I just did the 2013 exam

methods
Exam 1 40/40
EXam 2 75/80
Sacs a+

Probably 47-48, I lost 5.5 over both exams and pulled a 48, so losing 5 on the exams should get you easily 47-48 depending on how your SACs are.

Can anyone do mine?
Methods
GA 1 : 85/100 raw
GA 2: 38/40
GA 3: 71/80
Specialist
GA 1: 80/100
GA 2: 37/100
GA 3: 70/80
Cheers!

Methods, you're looking maybe 43-45 depending on difficulty of exams.

For Spesh, with last years exams that'd get you around 39-41, yep Spesh is that competitive...

You could get up to 45, but more realistically probably 42-43. Depends on the exams difficulty this year though

you'd get 37-39 with that depending how hard the exam is that year

So I stuffed up my chance of anything in the 40's with the exam mark?

im sorry i must have multiplied it wrong in my head, my bad !
i think you are looking at around 40/41, last year i had an exam mark 1 mark higher, and my GA1 was 97 instead of your 92, my GA2 was 96 opposed to your 98 and i got 41, so you would be looking at about 40/41 id say

Indeed I am. How can I possibly predict this years study score when I don't even know the grade dist? It can move down or even stay the same.

Anyway, those scores are awesome, well done!

Thanks!

I think you needed to hit at least 98-99/110 to get 45+ last year. I scored 101/110 for a 47. Only 1.5 marks up and you'd get to 48. As you can see, it gets seriously competitive at the 45+ range.

not too sure on this years difficulty, but since 45+ is top 2% scores for that range are unlikely to change too much

last year 102/110  = 47
102.5/110  = 48
(with near full marks for sacs)

so past 45 is reallllyyyy competitive, I think 105 was a 50 IIRC, will have to ask psyxwar

Only really looking for 40+, so do you reckon I'd be assured atleast a 40?

Scores again:

Unit 3 88-90
Unit 4 94-96
Exam 96/110, 98/110, 100/110 (three scenarios)

Exam Scenario 2: 18/20, 19/20

History:
GA 1: 73/100 (low A)

English

GA1: 91/100
GA2: 91/100

These are unscaled. MHS cohort.

Prediction: 9,9,8 [52/60] or 9,8,8 [50/60] or 9,7,8 [48/60]

I have no idea how my context piece will go.

Cheers.

Given this year was a harder exam than last years for the most part (section c is only a small part of the exam)
psych:
GA1: 98/100 (equal 1st)
GA2: 100/100 (1st)
GA3 (exam): 130-135/140

thanks

Hey guys
For Biology is it possible to get a raw study score of 40-42 with these scores
GA 1= 95/100 A+
GA 2= 89/100 A
GA 3=94-96/110 A+

I think im ranked equal 1st or 2nd in an above average cohort, but there isn't too much difference between rank 1-5
Thanks!
