With a ground pass, you can access all outside courts including Margaret Court Arena. However, you can't access Rod Laver or Hisense.

Hope that helps. :) :)

If you get lucky though (happened to me on thursday), sometimes later in the afternoon they let people with ground passes into Hisense Arena, just listen out if there's an announcement for it.

Well, since it's halfway through the tournament, you might see Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and any of the remaining top players train in the outside courts. I think there's doubles but i'm not too sure.

You're still purchasing it from Ticketek though, its $39. I'm not too sure how much it is online though. :)

I'm not too sure about the availability of tickets for the Rod Laver Arena sessions for the upcoming days, but assuming there's enough, you can pay more to upgrade your ground pass to access RLA.

How much would it cost to upgrade? Would it be the same cost as a normal RLA ticket?

Q. Will a ground pass ticket give me access to Rod Laver or Hisense Arena?
No.  You will require an additional ticket to access Rod Laver Arena or Hisense Arena. Ground pass ticket holders may upgrade their ticket at any Ticketek box office on the day (subject to availability) for an additional cost to get a fully reserved ticket to Hisense Arena or Rod Laver Arena.

From the Aus Open website. I've never purchased a ground pass, but it'd be best to give them a call today morning, or even send them a tweet to get a quick response. I think it would probably just be the cost of a normal RLA ticket, except you'd pay the remainder of the sum after deducting the cost of the ground pass (if that makes any sense) :)
