HSC Key Dates and other HSC events

Hey all,

I'll list some important dates for events such as scholar programs, lectures, exams, etc, in order to keep you on the loop with special offers that could potentially save 100 hours of stress about your ATAR. Included will be events such as the ATARNotes lectures, presentations hosted by other parties, and scholarships. They will be updated regularly when more information comes out about these events.

2018
MAY
May events
27 - English Extension 1 - Student Day

6 - UNSW FEAS applications close
Info: The Faculty of Engineering Admission Scheme is an alternative entry for those students who are applying for an Engineering degree who fear they will not meet the Guaranteed Entry of 92. This allows you to express your interest in applying for admission.

20 - HSC Modules - Student Day
Hosted by: ETA
Info: This is a half day event running from 10 AM to 2:30 PM and breaks up EVERY module text studied in Standard, Advanced, and ESL. It is broken up into three sections (Module A, Module B, and Module C). Teachers accompanied by 5+ students are free of charge.

1 - University of Wollongong Early Admission
Info: If you're looking to study at the University of Wollongong, apply for their early admission to secure an offer for your course. They look at your current results and can reward you with a guaranteed entry before you even sit the HSC.

1 - Educational Access Scheme open for 2018/19 admission
Info: The Education Access Scheme helps students who have suffered long-term educational disadvantage gain admission to tertiary studies.

Applications close on July 12, 2018 and will reopen on August 1, 2018.

1 - Schools Recommendation Scheme applications open
Info: The SRS allows schools to recommend students based on their own experiences of that particular student. It's one way institutions make early offers to undergraduate students.

10 - Law Admission Test (LAT) Applications close
Info: The LAT applications will close at 5:00 PM.

29 - Texts and Human Experiences (2019 Syllabus) - Student Day
Hosted by: ETA
Info: This presentation will give 2019 - 2023 HSC students a clearer picture on what is expected with the new syllabus from the eyes of experienced HSC markers.

Info: The Elite Athletes, Performers, and Leaders applications close on this day. Make sure you have your applications and supporting documents lodged by this date in order to be considered.
Note: you must lodge a UNSW offer in order for this application to be counted.
