Wait so is no internet access allowed for the rest of the household? Also will they only have access to your internet browsing throughout the test. Before and after the test, they wont right.
Also what if data is being used, is it still traceable?
No. People in your household can still use the internet, but edutest can see what all devices in your household is doing online. For example if there is a quesiton like "Which of the following is a synonym for corpulent", and one of the devices type up "corpulent synoynms" they are obviously going to suspect somebody cheating. But if a member of your household is typing up some completely irrelevent to the questions presented in the examination, they have no reason to blacklist or suspect anything. Also this is to my knowledge, if somebody can send me the actual examination guidelines that will be great!
Edutest will not care about your online activity outside the duration of the examination. As for mobile data, to my knowledge it really depends what provider you are with, and the configuration of your mobile data. Some mobile datas are configured such as being behind and using a router that hides all IPs behind it using Network Address Translation (NAT), in which case they all share its public IP, and your IP will remain traceable. How do you know how your Mobile data is configured? You simply don't.
I suggest not cheating your way to MHS. As it will no longer be considered an "acheivement", and will not be awarding of the hard work you have put in. For the people who do cheat, chances are they are ignorant and sit the exam with the beleif that the website conducting the examination is dumb and uniformed, which it isn't.
For the score, I agree that you would need a good average score out of 220. Like 170 or 150 but in the end, it also depends on your application form, because if you have good extracurricular and sporting achievements it would put you in a good position although you get 2 superiors.
Yep that is correct, Year 10 entry is heavily focussed on the extra curricular acheivement instead of the centralised examination. However, just aim for your highest, and what happens, happens. At the end of the day you can't really do anything about it, and all that matters is VCE. If you are preparing for an entrance exam, this hard, which I am sure you all are, than that just shows the ethics, hard work and resilience all of you have, especially at this stage. At this rate you can expect a very good VCE score, keep the good work up!
