I believe Collingwood will win it.
Essendon seem to have improved a lot from last year where everyone said they had an average list.
They still do have an average list but will improve as the year goes on.
Collingwood by 40.

Very good game I thought.
The young Bombers just ran out of legs in the end it seems.

Pretty good game overall. Hmm i dont think they ran out of legs, to me Collingwood just lifted and outplayed Essendon. Bombers kept making easy mistakes, handing the ball over, inefective kicks etc and Collingwood capitilised on them. It was still something like 6 goals to 4 for the 4th quarter.

Yeah the pies got off to a good start but i guess they slacked off a bit. it was a bit touch and go, so to speak, towards three quarter time, but mostly collingwood had the upper hand most of the time.
Quite proud of the pies.
So, bringing up another point of discussion, do you think the ANZAC day game should not be exclusive to only the pies or the dons??
i realise, i was quite stupid to create this poll, what, 1 hour before the ball first bounced

It already is a good rivalry dont you think??
I've heard some commentators call it almost a tribal fight between the two teams.
But i agree that it should stay the same. The two clubs started the tradition, so in my mind, its almost as if they own the day, in the sense that they own that particular way of honouring the diggers.

Well yeeah it's already a good rivalry, but over the past few years essendon have dropped off and most of the games collingwood have won comprehensively bar anzac day a couple of years ago. So the rivalry will continue and become greater over the next few years imo.
