Anyone up for guessing the scene that will be played out in exam 2?

Ill go first. I believe the faris wheel question from the 2006 sample will resurface. Something to do with the idea of bloody tasmania trying to see his house?city? from up in the sky. How long can he see it for/what height must he first reach..ect.

Yeah, definitely Tasmania Jones on some random and coincidentally mathematical situation - frickin hell, why couldn't they just change it to something like Pimp Jones or Schwarz Jones, or better yet - Dave Chappelle....

My friend and I have a $20 bet on whether there will be a Tasmania Jones question (I made him accept the bet before he realised there has been a Tassie Jones question forever!)

i think one analysis question will be involving composite functions. they barely touched on it last year...i think there was only a couple multi choices on it.

I also say that the probability question in exam 1 will be something to do with the 68-95-99.7 distribution

And you're doing methods this year dcc? LOL there goes everyone's 50!

On topic, I think there will be a drawbridge/gate/see-saw/swing/bouncing ball/etc.etc.etc. thing regarding circular functions with some whacky equation you need to sketch. They seem to come up in every practice exam I do, and they are worse than hell!
