Methods and use of mapping for graph transformations

Hey, just wanted to ask for 3/4 methods, would the use of mapping be required to get marks in the exam, regarding the description of sequences of transformation. Or could this be done by inspection?

Thanks.

I don’t think you have to use proper transformation mapping notation, as long as you show some working and don’t just state the answer.
