My interview is tomorrow.
The sensation swirling up in my chest is kinda weird. It is like a mix of fear, excitement and anticipation . God knows why I’m excited for this but I just am. Either way I hope to make some new friends at the interviews, reply if you’re there tomorrow.

Wish I wasn’t in the earliest group possible, now I’ll have to wait longer for results which eats away at my impatience.

I still stay up to 11:30 PM each night to modify, memorize and practice for the interview. And I have to do a lot of things in the other times. Still I feel unconfident as you guys are great, I’m now burning candles from both ends, I’m exhausted 😴

Oh how was it?

I can’t determine whether I went bad or good lol. For the group interview I saw the observers frantically switch to my sheet and write something ( I hope that is good ). I had the principal interview me and he was very hard to read. After the individual with him, I honestly could not tell if he liked me or not. I recall him flicking through my port folio and had an impressed look but still idk :/

That’s quite the preparation. All I could say for people trying in the future is to speak your mind. Don’t speak as if you were trying to impress somebody, just speak like how you would to an old friend with respect.

What would you guys recommend wearing to the interviews? School Uniform or casual? If casual is better, what type of clothes?

I just got rejected fromNissal high school and was planning to write the test for JMSS. I was wondering if someone could please send me slot of material needed for all the conponrs of the test cause I really need help.

IMO? International Mathematics Olympiad? That requires lot of ability to get in! I only planned to join AIMO on September 12th, and it is still very challenging!
Talking about inspirations, or about the school curriculum? I already planned to do that... however somebody says “do not try to overly impressive” so I guess I will discard the fancy sentences I take notes on the information night...

I had my interview, it went alright except for the group stage. My friend got three kids who barely spoke and I got three kids who wouldnt shut up. 1 on 1 went very well though, but since there is a lot of competition from my school I dont really know if im going to get in assuming everyone else has done well.
