The best advice that I can give is to not negate a subject because of its level of difficulty or simply because someone tells you to.

Up until this day, I regret choosing texts and traditions over specialist maths. I realised recently that maths is my favourite subject but it was a bit too late especially because I'm taking units 3&4 of texts and traditions. People told me that Spesh was hard and blah blah but I feel that I may have had a chance of performing well at it if I had taken it because I enjoy maths.

So really choose subjects based on whether or not you enjoy it :) and also if they are a requirement for the tertiary course that you're interested in.

Good luck!

I agree with nerdmmb, choose what you enjoy, rather than the level of difficulty. Health is a great subject to do in year 11. I usually recommend people to do 2 3/4s in year 11 if they can, but you should do what you think you care capable of. Personally, I find methods difficult, but that is only because I do not like it that much. However, although chem is a typically 'difficult' subject in the eyes of many, I like it, and therefore I do not perceive it as that difficult.
Legal from what I have heard is a lot of memory work.
ALSO choose your subjects based on what you would like to do after school. For example, if you find chem to be difficult and you don't really like it, there is no point in doing it if you don't want to enter the science field.
I don't know about your school, but at mine we had a councillor who sat down with us and decided which subjects are good for us. So don't be afraid to consult with a teacher, it can be really useful !!
Good luck and I hope you achieve your goals.
