Should i ignore my biology exam?
« on: October 20, 2016, 01:20:38 am »

Hey guys,

I am currently doing 5 subjects, English (avg sac 80% / 79% )  , Methods (avg 80% sac), Further (avg 95% sac) , Chem (avg 85% / 85%), Biology ( 60% , 75%)
and i did psychology last year.

I have been studying a lot for all my subjects besides biology (haven't touched at all) and i can not answer more than 10% of question on any biology exams as off today.

I am not sure if i should completely ignore biology, and do the exam based on my general knowledge? i need help please!
i feel like if i don't study for biology, i can spend that time into more English and further preparation as they're all in the first week. I am 100% certain biology will be my second 10%
any advice?
thank you

Yeah just ignore it lol

If you can improve your top 4 subjects by 1 S.S, it's like 10 Study Scores in Bio.
Not worth in my opinion :)

45+ raw score guaranteed (or 100% refund) for 2022 Methods & Specialist (other subjects also available - classes for all) register now!

Also hiring excellent Methods, Chemistry, Physics, Biology + Specialist tutors with a passion for excellence - PM me!

If you're 110% sure it'll be your second 10% I wouldn't allocate any effort into it at all at this point (unless you need a 25 for pre-reqs) I did the same thing for methods.
Good luck

probably, to get below 20 you would need to try really hard to do so in an "average" subject like biology (scales up 1 most years) (disclaimer: I found bio pretty difficult in comparison to all my subjects this year) :)

i don't even know the statistics for SS<10 but 7% get below 20 and around 5% weren't assessed last year so just guess MC get 10/110 and you'll get like a 20. Obviously you have some knowledge in bio so you'll get higher.

Assuming there are Multiple Choice questions, if you just guess C for all your M.C Questions, you are guaranteed to get above a S.S of 10, that's how easy it is to get a 10 :)
