How many marks can you drop before you go below 45?

I heard it's so hard to to get 45+   , and it's so hard to not loose any marks.  So it's impossible!??    :(

Hi 34590,

Essentially, one mark lost in the end of year exams is one study score gone. As it is the easiest math component out of the three (Methods CAS & Specialist Mathematics) a lot of people do well in it. So.. drop 5 marks or more in BOTH exam 1 & 2 next year, and your study score will be lower than 45.

Of course it's possible, if you do well on sacs and then lose less than 5 marks over both exams, you will most likely get over 45.

its fairly surprising to see the cut off for an A+ on exam 2 was 52/60??

surely MUCH!!! more then 9% (which is how many ppl got A+) know how to very easily do every question, so how do so many ppl pull such stupid mistakes?
i'd expect the cut off to be up in 56/57 mark, as 3 or 4 marks off isn't that good for further

NEVER QUESTION THAT.

It depends on your mind. I really regret doing further. My head isn't for it; i can do olympiad stuff, but I don't have the interest to sit down and do something like simple interest calculations, its so draining and boring.
