i think it is one, as discrete energy levels represents standing waves, hence for a standing wave to occur 2 wavelengths are required, therefore ground must be 1, as its not a standing wave hence ev = zero. and 2 standing waves n = 1.. si whatever.

Ground state is 1 wavelength, but is , I believe (can't really remember), but I do remember vaguely that the wavelength is off the by 1, so that makes sense!
