Hey guys I recently got accepted into EBSS and have chosen to do: Physics, Bio 3&4, Chemistry, Standard English (might swap to English Language), Maths Methods, Specialists Maths.

I really want to get ready for my VCE years so it wold be extremely helpful if you guys can give me tips on where I can find books or tutors that can help me in getting started on my journey through VCE. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Congrats on getting into EBSS! I've heard really good things about that school and I'm sure you'll do well :)

Regarding VCE, the best bet to starting early is to get hold of your textbooks for next year (and the AN study guide for English if you're doing standard English) as they will explain things from the very basics. You don't need a tutor for VCE, and although some may suggest that they help, I'd reserve getting one only if you find you're struggling.

There are plenty of threads in this board that explain how VCE works, and have many many tips for general success. The sticky threads on this board are the ones you should hit-up first, in particular Victorian Education Discussion Resources

Thank you so much for that, I looked through the sticky thread and it really helped me out a lot :), however, I decided to read this years' VCE textbooks so I can prepare myself for next year, I tried asking some year elevens if they can give me their eBook code for their book but I have had no luck so far :c, if you know where I can get some codes for eBooks (I am not inclined on buying them since it will only be temporary) I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks again. Cheers

If it's temporary, borrow the books from your school library? Not a tech-savvy approach, but there's no school like the old school :)

Note: textbooks won't be completely descriptive, because literally all those subjects (minus bio 3/4, but this is the case for 1/2) have new study designs next year.
