Great notes Elaine! We had to watch the Rip Curl DVD too, I thought most of the Rip Curl employees looked very bored!

Yeah concerning the operations management of Rip Curl factory in Torquay I think.
BTW does anyone have any good Mindmaps for BM? I like to put mindmaps around my room so I can learn while going to sleep :P

Hey guys, I have another question regarding a dot point in the HR AOS:

– termination management including entitlement and transition issues;

What are transition issues?

This is all I could find that might be relevant???:
- sensitivity at termination
- retirement: provide assistance, alert and plan well in advance
- resignation: try to maintain good relationships with staff who are retiring
- retrenchment: management should try to reduce the hardship for the retrenched employees and their dependants.

yep, that's exactly what that means.
basically, the organisation would want to make the transition as smooth as possible to prevent law suits or the employee giving prospective employees a 'bad word'.
