Transferring from another university

Hi
I currently studying first year Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne Uni.
I want to transfer to Commerce/Law at Monash.

On the website it says:
To be eligible to apply for a Law place you must have:
achieved a distinction average or better (75%+) across all university units for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)

For first semester my marks were:
Accounting Reports and Analysis: 81%
Introductory Microeconomics: 82%
Quantitative Methods 1 (Statistics): 92%
Medieval Plague, War and Heresy: 73%

Does that mean that I am not eligible to apply since I got below 75% in one subject. Medieval history was a breadth (subject not from my course) subject. I originally thought that to be eligible it was an average of 75% of all subjects combined but I'm starting to think that it means that I have to achieve above 75% in each of my subjects.
So I was wondering if I am still eligible if all my subjects this semester is above 75%
2010: Accounting [45], Legal Studies [42]
2011: Methods [38], English [41], Chem [37], Revolutions [44], Vietnamese [22]
ATAR: 97.45
2012-2014: B.Com @ Melb

I think you'll find they make an exception considering the results of your other subjects but then again I'm not monash uni. I transferred midyear myself an found that unis generally want an average of 75 or above
Finished in 2011. Business 50. ATAR 96

It says "distinction average". You don't need to achieve >75% in every unit; you just need to have an average that includes all your units in the calculation that equates to more than >75%.

Apply now! I'm pretty sure they only take students who have done at least 1 year of uni study at the end of 2012, hopefully you get in!
But I'm just gonna say that there's a whole heap of students like you at monash who want to transfer to comm./law. Not me though. :)

Not really that desperate, perfectly happy with a Commerce degree since I can double major whilst if I get into Com/Law I only only have one commerce major and its a hard decision to decide if i want to do accounting or finance.
Haha yeah ill probably do the LSAT and try for jd if i don't get in. But I heard like only 50% of the spots is CSP and the full fee is like $103,000.
