Yeh. It would have been a tricky situation for me, since i come from mumbai just incase it was mumbai vs vics. Bah who cares. GO VICS!!

Its kind of funny, in the aftermath of the mumbai attacks everyone seems to be more concerned about the ICL then the political/social upheavals.

yes a very terrible and inhumane thing to do
it just adds to the many reasons why i dont want to go there
but then again, it happened in the south..

Great batting lineup but the Vics have a better bowling outfit

Psssh, Mumbai didn't even make the semifinals of the IPL! So no conflict of interest this time. Next time maybe...

Humph, Vics have a shit bowling line up. We have a good batting in hussey, hodge, rogers and crosthwaite( who is an excellent keeper-batsman), btw BLIZZARD is a gun hitter.

Bowling- mcgains shit for this form, lewis and co are crap.

Errr, Lewis retired last year... McGain wasn't even in the Twenty20 squad because he's been injured. We have Peter Siddle (just played a test for Australia, 12th man in the test right now), Shane Harwood (played a Twenty20 for Aus vs. England), and Darren Pattinson (played a test for England this year) as part of our pace attack. Not to mention Dirk Nannes, who averages like 15 in Twenty20s, and Clint McKay, who's been in incredible form this year in the Sheffield Shield.

Basically we have more pace bowlers than we need...

Oh and Rogers isn't in the squad either (can only be players who were there last year), but we've got other guns like Quiney and White, as well as Crosthwaite who is surprisingly good at Twenty20.

UMM, yeh humph. I havent been followin our bowling too closely. But its a hardly an attack that sends shivers down batters spine. Then again, 20 20 is a bit flukey, any bowler can do reasonably well if he gets lucky.
