squats ( back or front ) is defintely the most important exercise of ALL some form of rowing whether it be t bar or barbell or dumbell is necessary for lower back alot of people neglect lower back and have no core strength


military press is kinda overrated i think... i hate the movement but make sure ur doing some sort of pressing to hit the top of the delt

Squats are probably the most dangerous exercise you can do IMO, especially if you've got back problems. They ARE great for hitting a lot of muscles but there are safer alternatives which I tend to side with more. The possible gains I could be getting from squats aren't worth the issues my back are facing/could face in the long run I reckon, but that's up to the individual.

Squats are an exercise that make use of more than 1 muscle groupaka compound movement
Squats are important but are not the only exercise that requires compound movements

what makes you say that?

hits your core and legs like crazy and also alot of balance muscles in your whole body... when u go heavier ur bodies stabilising muscles increase and it increases ur strength on alot of ur other lifts

also it makes u alot more flexible in the hamstrings

fair enough. unfortunately for me, squats seem to hit every muscle in my body except my quads/hams. so that why i tend to stay away from back squats

hmmm ur form may be out, are u pushing with ur heels (not toes) knees aligned not going forward chest up ass to ground back curved  correctly? just practice with the bar or lighter weight and get someone to check ur form then once uve got it u can increase

but yeah i didnt know how to squat correctly for the first 1 month either but once i got it correct my gains increased rapidly

yeah i know my form is spot on, the issue is that i liked training legs so much at the start that theyre one of my best body parts atm, and so the load that it takes to hurt my quads is too much for the rest of my body.

keep squatting the rest of ur body will catch up :) and soon enough the load will be on legs again

Squats get stabilizing muscles in your legs and back. They allow you to build muscle much better than the leg press ever can. They aren't dangerous if you don't go heavier than you can lift.

DO NOT be afraid touching weights if you are a girl and follow this routine and stay on a calorie deficit e.g. 1000kJ


Not sure if I'm actually reading this part right... do you mean only eat 1000kj per day? 0_o

yeah if you continue to eat the way you are now and just train at the gym you will be on a deficit ( assuming your not gaining any weight atm)
