when someone posts something replying to a post I made
how do I reply to that post directly without making a completely new one???

Hey Marcus! Not 100% sure what you're asking here. Do you mean, like, how to quote their post (like how I've quoted your post in this post)? Or are you asking how to message them directly (so a private message) that doesn't come up on the forums?

Or something else? Haha - sorry, haven't been with it recently. :P

To reply I assume you could quote them and type your reply. If you wanted to PM them then you click their name and a menu should be there somewhere.

I don't think you can delete one you made - you can only delete posts that are replying to a thread. You can PM a national moderator/admin (like me) and we can delete it for you :)

Hi!!
I've only started to post recently and I'm so lost haha
How do I find posts and questions that I've submitted? I can't remember the title it had so now it's floating around somewhere in the big world of AN Forums :')

Thanks!

Hey, good_stuff! Hope you're enjoying the forums. :)

If you scroll up to the top of the page, on the left there's a "Show new replies to your posts." If you click that, it'll list all of the threads you've posted in that have had a response since you last checked.

You can also see all of the post you've made by clicking on your profile, and then clicking "Show Posts". :)

Let me know if you can't find it - I'll send a picture. :)

Just one question...

How can I multi-quote in one post? Even after a couple of months on the forums, I still don't know how to do it lol.

Thanks!

If you are in the Quick Reply mode, you can click the Preview button to go into the more advanced settings.

Then, underneath where you write your post (and underneath the attachments and other options) there will be a bunch of posts below. Click "Insert Quote" on a specific post to quote that post into your's.

(Alternatively, in the Quick Reply mode, you can just keep clicking the quote button.)

That's the new window we added to browsers where you can type and reply to a thread immediately without going to a new screen - If you are reading this on a computer, you'll see it if you scroll down ;D

Ummm... I don't see it anywhere. I do however see the 'Jump to' bar but that is really it. I am using Chrome btw.

So wait, you can't see this 'Quick Reply' bar? I'm in Chrome as well so I'm baffled!

Profile > Look and layout > quick reply drop-down menu

Check that the settings haven't been tampered with. I only noticed that about six hours ago today.
