i'd say 75% of my errors are stupid. Frustration to the freaking max! zzz hence I die in exam 1, losing 3-5 marks... but in exam 2 I used to lose 15.

How harshly does everyone mark themselves?
If you find that you're getting 100% on "Show that" and "hence" question, or you're not subtracting marks for forgetting the tilde under the 0, then you're inflating.  :police:

exam 1:  -finished 8
exam 2:  -finished 5
and i just printed 5 more exam 1 and 2's to be done on the weekend

highest: vcaa 2008 exam 1: 40/40
[just did that today xD]

all my trails were done under exam conditions with a similar marking system

I want your advice, I have spesh chem eng and lit. considering that I have a week before chem,
do you think I should just focus on specialist and english and a bit of lit and then do chem maybe every third day because I have that week?

I think I've done 5 exam 1s and 3 exam 2s.

Best was 39/40 and 76/80.

Damn you guys have all done heaps...
for school practice exam we did an exam 2 minus the MC minus 1 ER question, since we had less time.
got 44/45 :( calc screwed up and f'd up my particle graph

For my methods prac exam (the first exam 2 i did) i dropped 10 marks... which would have dragged me down to like 40 SS, thus spesh would be <40? very logical :P
