I don't blame you ahah. Tutoring sometimes feels like a waste of time, especially when you complete the work early and you already know how to do it.

yeah exactly haha and I didn't have any friends (that I liked anyway oops) so basically it was me sitting by myself with heaps of other kids who aren't interested at all. I did learn some good work habits though !

Guys, how sad (and unlikely) would it be if none of us got interviews XD
You would think that this year's interview offers would be a lot earlier than last year's, but who knows.

Is anyone else using hotmail? Kind of worried that it won't receive the JMSS email.
When faced with a problem, you either find a way or an excuse.

Just a question where'd it say that there are only 500 people who got in, because I couldn't find it on the website

Wait until it's August. If none of us get interview offers, then call XD

quinn_03 mentioned this a while ago. According to a 'family friend' who worked at JMSS, they said that ~500 will get an interview this year.

What quinn_03 said before about Ohm's Law (V=IR)

It also depends on whether the circuit is a series or parallel (I think).
Series: R = R1 + R2
For example, two resistors with 100Ω would have a resistance of 200Ω.

Parallel: 1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2
For example, two resistors with 100Ω would have a resistance of 50Ω.

wow jeez, is this something you need to know for the entry exams? I'm quite impressed because i'm a vce student and i have no idea what you boys on about.

Good luck to all of you! MHS> JMMS :)

I actually considered trying out for Nossal, but I hesitated for some reason and ended up not doing it.
I'm glad I didn't do it XD otherwise, I wouldn't have found out about JMSS

I'm pretty sure you receive an email because it's easier to decline/accept the offer.

Also, results should come out at 4-5pm some time this week (don't take my word on it) Good luck guys!

I'm afraid not. Oh and Hi Hannah

Ahahaha! So true! I have given a guy, who goes to MHS, a nickname, which is "The Unicorn Boy". Also, for Nossal, they're the butterflies. For Mac.Rob, they're the female knights. For Suzanne Cory, they're "Idk what to call them". XD
