 I think you are correct

1.8 The   maximum   number   of   students   admitted   into   John   Monash   Science School   in   Year   10   must   not   
exceed    3%    of    any    one    school’s   Year    9   enrolment.   There    is    no    cap    on   enrolments    from    any    one   
school   to   JMSS   at   any   other   year   level;

1.9 If   JMSS   is   unable   to   enrol   all   applicants   from   any   one   school   due   to   the   3%   cap,   JMSS   will   interview   
all   applicants    from   that   school   eligible    for   entry   and   decide   which   students   will   benefit   the   most   
from,   and   make   the   most   of,   the   opportunity   to   join   JMSS;

Well.... I haven't thought about the science electives yet, but I'll take a look of it later.

wow 100 pages and almost 40 000 views on this thread! I just wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am for you guys. I'm not sure how I would have made it through this whole process without the people on this forum. last year, e.g, when I was trying out for the selective exam, I felt really alone, but this year we have a real community here and I'm so happy I befriended all of you. I can't believe it's come to this!  hope to see all of you at jm next year! (if i get in lol hahahaaaaaa i wish)

Lmao, I was trying to prepare for the 100th page thing, but I'm so late XD

It's been a nice journey. Compared to last year's thread, this one is a lot more involved and chatty.
It feels nice to be able to escape from school-life, from the people you've known for a few years, and be able to talk to other people that share the same passion for science as you do. We don't really know each other that well, but it's nice talking to people that can empathise with your anxiety throughout the application process.

yay 100 pages!! It's been an honour to be talking with you guys and no matter what happens in the outcome of the interview, we should all try and stay in touch! wow it still seems like yesterday when i created this thread hoping to find one or two kids who were just as nervous as i was for the exam!
