juat one question!
the following sequence of amino acids represents a small section of a polypeptise: leucine isoleucine methionine alanine lysine tyrosine arginine. from this section of pplypeptide one can conclude that the number of nucleotides present in the messenger rna that resulted in the formation of this section of polypeptide is...

I think it's 3 nucleotides for one amino acid, because a codon's made up of 3 nucleotides which I'm pretty sure code for one amino acid, so seeing as there are 7 amino acids, then the no. of nucleotides would be 21

that's what i thought too but then the answer says that it's 14 :s
