BCMB20003 was good. You'll do well if you put the effort in and it's pretty much all memory. I didn't do techniques and didn't feel disadvantaged. The online assessments are easy marks.

Noooooooo nothing like the chem ones.
The research ones are really social. If you had a prac in week 2 for example, then your prac write-up would be due either 1 or 2 weeks later (I forget which one but I think it's 2). The write-ups aren't scary, they have 5 or so questions on there that you use your data you've collected from your prac (e.g. blood pressure recordings) and write a response to (where you pretty much just refer to your lecture notes). You work in either a group of 2 or a group of 6 for pracs, so if you grab peoples facebook/ phone number then you can always check with them to see if you recorded all the data you needed from the prac. These pracs are fun, nothing to be scared of- I promise.

This should probably be in UoM general chat but ah well :)
I chose NEUR30004 (I find the content interesting) and BIOL30001 (I like the forms of assessment)

turtle endorsed sports coaching. there's a thread about the subject i opened which could be helpful (use search). i'm probably doing it in february. i heard another easy breadth is school experience as breadth, and also 'understanding, knowing and learning' which is about tutoring and has a good subject review.

Found out I can't do sports coaching so looked up a lv 2 one.

Tfw assessment is entirely essays. Nope.

All you people make BCMB20003 sound so amazing, I'm sorely tempted to enrol in it ;^;

does anyone know of a science selective ( level 1 or level 2) that is not overly hard, easy to do, or has multiple choice assessment?? I'm planning to replace my breadth with a science subject. No pracs is preferable.

BOTA20004 Flora of Victoria. I know it might not be similar to what you're used to, but it's easy, extremely well-coordinated and run by enthusiastic and friendly staff members, so even if you don't like the course content at all, you'll still have support. The final essay takes a little while but is in no way difficult if you start early ;) The exam was extraordinarily straightforward, as was the first assignment, and the pracs aren't assessed until the exam (and everything you need to know is in the subject manual or on the prac slides they upload). Very non-technical for the most part, too. Just my two cents, but focusing on a single subject also makes it easier to do well in said class. The class runs in February.

Slightly greater volume of information but I found the lectures more interesting than principles of genetics. The assessment is very fair and final exam questions tend to be recycled.
