help, question on antibodies!

hey guys, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area... i was looking for a kind of question megathread but oh well

You know antibodies have two antigen-binding sites, does the shape of those two antigen binding sites have to be the same? or can they have a different shape on each arm?

because in the 2006 VCAA paper, multiple choice question 7, i thought the answer was C (which had two different shaped antigen binding sites), but it was actually B

thanks in advance!

The two antigen binding sites have to be the same, but they can bind to two of the same antigen (1 per each arm)
