actually our bio exam was written way earlier in the year before the discovery of homo naledi hence I really really doubt there will be anything on it
Good point but do they make modifications at all?
Also, I'm expecting an experiment design question because it hasn't appeared on the 2013 or 2014 papers and VCAA says this in the 2014 Assessment Report:
Teachers and students are reminded that the set of key skills (refer to page 12 of the study design) are examinable
On page 12, amongst other things, this is included:
Investigate and inquire scientifically
• formulate questions and construct hypotheses appropriate for conducting first-hand and secondhand
investigations
• plan, design and conduct first-hand investigations: select and use equipment and materials
appropriate to the investigation; evaluate experimental procedures and reliability of data
• collect, process and record information systematically; analyse and synthesise data; draw
conclusions consistent with the question under investigation and the evidence obtained
• act responsibly when conducting investigations: maintain safe practices; work independently and
collaboratively as appropriate.
