I have two answers for this I've recently listened to Charlie Puth's Voicenotes album in full for the first time in months (it used to be my study music in my HSC ) but I also technically listened to the soundtrack of Hamilton in full too because I streamed it on Disney Plus for the premiere
Hey angewina,
I love
Hamilton too! I streamed the premiere as well and it was absolutely amazing to watch as I've never actually seen it before (I've only listened to the soundtrack before the premiere). I also love how I was aware of the historical background of the play as I studied the American Revolution in QCE Modern History so it was extremely useful to have a sense of what was going on if you know what I mean. I think the conceptual and historical knowledge of the events of the play really adds to the impact, significance and message of the play.
In terms of the question: "What was the last album I listened to?" - my answer would probably have to be the soundtrack of the
Into The Woods film (the Disney version). As much as I love the original version of the play, Anna Kendrick's beautiful vocals in the songs - especially in the song "No One is Alone" - really hurt me (in a good way) as, without that song, I would have never realised how grateful I am for everything that I have, even the smallest things that I usually take for granted. It even made me realise how fragile life is, as it isn't something that we can cling onto forever.
Sorry for my little analysis, I'm just a die-hard English nerd. Especially when it comes to analysing.
Have a great week and kind regards,
Darcy Dillon.
