Hi Everyone!

Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. My name is Leon Suy and I graduated from Haileybury College in 2015 with an ATAR of 99.80 and a score of 48 raw (54 scaled) in Specialist Mathematics and a score of 44 raw (48 scaled) in Mathematical Methods. I am currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

I have been tutoring for 4 years now, and with the experience that I have gained in tutoring over 35 students (over 2000+ hours of tutoring experience), especially working with the shift in focus for the new study design in both Methods and Specialist Mathematics, I believe I can help you achieve your full potential by showing you how to understand the maths rather than rote learning it.

I offer group tuition for Mathematical Methods Units 1/2, 3/4 and Specialist Mathematics Units 3/4. My classes are 1.5 hours, and comprise a comprehensive hand-made worksheet and notes on each topic, problem discussion and help with your own work from school. With my experience, I have found that the best way to learn is with a focus on exam type questions, and as such almost every lesson will have an exam-type question so you can start to get a feel of what the exam will be like as soon as possible. Moreover, I have various SAC and Exam-style resources which will be used in our classes throughout the year.

I am also avaliable to contact for help anytime, as I know how valuable it can be to have someone to help you outside of school hours.

Lesson prices and info are as follows:
-Mathematical Methods 1/2: $40 per 1.5hr lesson
-Mathematical Methods 3/4: $50 per 1.5hr lesson
-Specialist Mathematics 3/4: $60 per 1.5hr lesson
Classes are held in a classroom space at my place, 7 minute walk (1 minute drive) away from Haileybury College Keysborough.
