Hi everyone,
I was very happy and rather surprised to receive this score yesterday!

However, now I'm feeling like it's a bit of a useless high score- it doesn't entitle me to anything really, as I just miss out on the opportunity of the Chancellor's Scholar's Program at Melbourne University (and I don't think I'm planning to go to Monash...)

Are there any other scholarships out there that I may apply for?

Is it still possible that I can still get into the Chancellor's Program?

Two questions:
1. Did you have Monash listed as one of your preferences? (Although you may not feel like going to Monash now, you never know what could happen in the next week...) You probably already know this, but Monash offers Excellence Scholarships to those who score between 99.80-99.85. The scholarship is pretty generous from what I've heard.
2. Did you apply for SEAS?

There is a chance that you will be accepted into the Chancellor's Program, if enough students bail and go to Monash. There have been cases in previous years where students who got 99.85 were granted the National Scholarships, so fingers crossed!
2020 - 2021: Master of Public Health, The University of Sydney
2017 - 2020: Doctor of Medicine, The University of Melbourne
2014 - 2016: Bachelor of Biomedicine, The University of Melbourne
2013 ATAR: 99.95

Currently selling copies of the VCE Chinese Exam Revision Book and UMEP Maths Exam Revision Book, and accepting students for Maths Methods and Specialist Maths Tutoring in 2020!

I've never heard of this happening? :S

EDIT: Also, OP, what sort of courses are you looking at? If you're thinking about commerce, I believe that the Copland Scholars Program at UniMelb is 99.85+ =)

Id take the monash scholrship if you dont get the chancellors scholarship. It is extremely generous.

The problem with melb is that a 99.85 does not represent ANY leverage when it comes to CSP postgrad courses - my friend got the same atar and was still in the same bracket when it came to his JD application. (Only offered a FFP 1st time round due to an ordinary LSAT score - despite a mid 80 average)
