Something relating to Allocate+

With all the percentages..like 74%, 113%, 373% (lol)...is it accurate?

What I mean is...if a tutorial has 110% next to it, will 10% of students miss out? Or do they tend to accept more than they can fit... I can reword it if it sounds a bit confusing.

Lets say 30 people are allowed in a tutorial and 33 choose it. That's 110%, so my guess is they'll have to not let 3 people into that tutorial unless there is no other available option for them. From what I understand, as long as you put your preferences in before the cutoff date, then everyone has an equal chance of getting that class

It didn't take that long for me to figure out how to work it. Best thing to do is to use MUTTS, select lectures/labs/tutes that are auto-allocated, then look for where there are no clashes for the rest of the lectures/labs/tutes

Is that the only circumstance when they'll let in people when its already at 100% you reckon?

Ive got no auto-allocations this semester so i can't make anything purposely clash =.=

That's one circumstance, there might be others, maybe if the lecturer is nice they'll let more people in
