Here are some suggestions for enzyme pracs:

Starch and amylase:
- you can set up petri dishes with starch and amylase
- determine how much digestion of starch has occurred by measuring diameter of hole made

Catalase and hydrogen peroxide:
- you can determine effect of increasing catalase concentration on hydrogen peroxide breakdown
- have 5 test tubes with increasing concentrations of catalase (0.0001%, 0.001%, 0.01%, 0.1%, 1%)
- dip a paper disc into hydrogen peroxide solution (lets say 1%) and place into test tube (at bottom of test tube using tweezer) containing 1% and time how long it takes for disc to float to top of catalase solution
- (disc will float because catalase breaks down hydrogen peroxide into oxygen gas and water, so oxygen gas will cause disc to float)
